We spent the day in
getting rid of spare kit, each officer sending away a lot of spare
stuff as we thought there might be no room for unauthorised transport
when we entrained and so we were prepared to put our kits on the
wagons. The railhead was at Rigersberg junction so it was no distance
to send them. In the afternoon Siggers and I walked to brigade to
find out details of the march and also one or two other odd details.
